How We Organize Ourselves: Signs and Symbols
Local artist, Ahmed Al Bahrani, visited Kindergarten students to discuss his relief sculpture near our school and create prints with the students. Students discovered meaning in the symbols of Mr. Bahrani's sculpture and created their own symbols through printmaking.
Sharing the Planet
Parent and artist, Aimee Steiner, visited Grade 2 students to discuss her lifelong Action of collecting found objects and turning them into art to raise money for refugee children.
